ACCA P3知識點：E-business 電子商務
一、定義
E-business 是指通過電子手段（electronic means）實現整個業務流程的自動化（automation of business processes），這個可能局限于使用電子郵件（email），也可能擴展到功能齊全的網站或電子市場（website or e-marketplace）。
二、與普通業務相比的區別
E-business帶來的六項收益如下：
•?成本降低（Decrease the costs）
•?能力（生產能力等）增加（Develop the capability）
•?通信的改進（Improving the communications）
•?控制增強（Enhancing the control）
•?客戶服務改進（Improving the customer service）
•?競爭優勢可以實現（Might achieve the competitive advantage）
電子商務流程不僅包括在線營銷和銷售 online marketing and sales，還包括供應鏈supply-chain和渠道管理 channel management、制造 manufacturing 和庫存控制 inventory control、財務運作 financial operations 和整個組織的員工工作流程。
三、與e-commerce相比較
包括金融交易financial transaction的e-business被稱為e-commerce。
E-business經常與e-commerce相混淆。
（a）利用因特網技術進行電子交易的任何交易（transactions with an electronic process using internet technologies）都是e-business。
（b）如果使用互聯網電子設備進行的金融交易（financial transactions），是e-commerce。例如，在某購物網站上買一本書既是e-commerce，也是e-business。利用某個地圖網站創建一個地圖的指示從辦公室到郵局，這是e-business（這是不涉及e-commerce的）。
